Overview

Under-eye bags form when orbital fat bulges forward while the tear-trough hollow beneath deepens — a combination that casts permanent shadows and years onto the face. Repositioning solves both at once: the bulging fat is moved down into the hollow through an incision inside the lid, leaving no external scar.

When excess is substantial, part of the fat is removed as well. The 30–60 minute procedure smooths the entire under-eye plane, brightening dark circles caused by shadow — the most common kind — with about a week of recovery.
